For children with the most severe cerebral palsy — no head control, no sitting balance, no standing ability — ProWalk functions like an exoskeleton that encompasses the body, enabling both static standing and dynamic stepping.

The fifth registered invention and the first designed from the outset around measurable gait parameters. It is the first domestically adapted version of the internationally recognised NF Walker, designed and manufactured by the R&D team of the Avijeh Novandishan Rehabilitation Institute. Built for children aged 2 to 15, with every dimension customised to the child's body measurements. Children who remain in seated or lying positions for prolonged periods develop osteoporosis, digestive disorders, muscle shortening and circulatory impairment; standing and experiencing stepping movements reverses much of that, and improves cognitive and speech function through social participation.

Economics. Comparable foreign-made models cost approximately €15,000. The domestically manufactured version costs roughly one-thirtieth of that — about $300 (30 million Iranian tomans).
