Children's Cerebral Palsy Suit
Registration certificate
No. 38297
The garment design registration behind the suspension suit — the pattern, panel layout and hook placement that make the elastic system wearable by a child.
The registration describes a five-piece garment — cap, vest, shorts, knee brace and foot covering. Webbing straps are sewn onto the fabric, uPVC hooks fasten to the straps, and rubber elastic bands then link the pieces hook to hook, so that the tension draws the body back toward its natural alignment. The vest carries 40 hooks and the shorts 52, in three rows front and back. The strap colours are the sizing system: three rows on each side read as six colour columns front and back, and a different colour means a different size.
